In Honor of the Brave

In 1938, the country commemorated it’s first veterans day (at the time called Armistice Day) in honor of those who served in World War I. We celebrate on the 11th of November as the war ended at 11:00 on 11/11.

Starting in 1954, the holiday was changed, not only to the new name of Veterans Day but to honor all those who have fought for our country.

Let us take a moment and think of how grateful we are for those who have made our country wonderful. We live in a land of the free that had a cost to many brave individuals and their families.

Let us never forget the selflessness of those who served for the United States of America.

Happy Veterans Day
