BBBS of Greater Cincinnata is on a mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Guided by our bold vision that all youth achieve their full potential, we have been a trusted Cincinnati non-profit since 1903. We are proud to be the birthplace of the national Big Brothers Big Sisters movement. It began right here in Cincinnati when a young businessman named Irv befriended a boy who needed support. That one act of mentorship inspired a ripple effect that grew into a national movement with more than 250 agencies across the country. Our legacy is built on outcomes-driven mentoring, anchored in equity, trust, and impact. BBBSGC offers a range of innovative programs to meet youth where they are, including our cornerstone Community-Based Mentoring, Site-Based programs such as High School Bigs and Lunch Buddies, Beyond School Walls partnerships, and our new Game Changers pilot focused on culturally responsive mentoring and mental wellness for middle school students. Together with our partners, we are building a stronger, more resilient future for the next generation.

It costs approximately $1,500 each year to support one mentoring match, and BBBSGC proudly serves nearly 1,000 children across Greater Cincinnati. Our impact is proven: 92% of our Littles graduate from high school, compared to 84% of their Cincinnati Public Schools peers. Additionally, 98% avoid involvement with the juvenile justice system, and the vast majority report increased confidence, resilience, and hope for their future.
