Happy National Women’s Day

Times are changing in terms of gender roles and equality is the greatest goal. With this year’s theme being #balanceforbetter, it is an international statement of total fairness; not just for women. The theme concentrates on a future where both men and women can be equal in professional status, media perception, and more. While there are many women that have shaped our country and made great impacts on our history; today I want to acknowledge the women that are changing our future.

Here are just a few of the women in our country, creating a path for women to continue to be intelligent, strong, and a force of change………

Marillyn Hewson:
Chairmen, President and CEO of Lockheed Martin

Hewson is a leader in supplying military needs from fighter jets to the space force!

Mary Barra
Chairman and CEO of General Motors

Mary is an innovator that thinks outside the box. Within the year GM will have its first self-driving cars for ride-sharing deployed.

Sheryl Sandberg
COO Facebook

Facebook is a giant to control. With privacy issues and overall controversy as the regular for Sheryl, she handles everything with intention and business savvy.

Ann-Marie Campbell
EVP Home Depot

Campbell started as a Home Depot cashier and now oversees 2,000 stores and 90% of the company’s revenue! Campbell has a vision for Home Depot and is in the works of creating a reinvigorated store.

Hoping that women all over the world continue to challenge stereotypes and the status quo….

“She was unstoppable. Not because she did not have failures or doubts, bit because she continued on despite them.”
