The American Staffing Association has released a highly impressive declaration reflecting the current status of the staffing industry, “Three million people being placed on temp assignments per day in quarter three.” This is a great example of how integral the staffing industry has become but yet still unacknowledged. With unemployment hovering at 7.8% and in more fathomable terms, 11.3 million people who are without jobs in the United States. In today’s world where so many are job hunting versus the actual number of open positions available, staffing companies make it easier for companies to get employees into jobs, and helps to find better opportunities for those currently unemployed. The ASA furthers this by also stating in the same article, “From career counseling services to job placement, staffing and recruiting firms offer valuable resources and employment for job seekers.”
